Appointment Policy

We appreciate all of our clients and kindly ask you for understanding and respect of our policies.

Booking the appointment

When you are booking online you will need to enter your bank card details in order to secure booking. Your appointment is NOT confirmed until you confirm it with your bank card.

We reserve a right to require a booking fee at any time. 

Booking fee can be transferred if appointment is rescheduled in more than 24 hours prior appointment. Booking fee can be rolled over maximum 2 times in a row. On 3rd consecutive reschedule a new fee will be charged.

Cancelations and reschedule

If you cancel or reschedule in less than 24 hours before the appointment you will be charged a cancelation fee, which is 50% of the appointment value.

Failure to pay this fee will result in no further appointments booked and all prebooked future appointments cancelled until the fee is paid.


*It is hard to fill the appointment with less than 24h notice. But if we will be able to fill in the appointment on short notice - the fee will be waived.


No-shows

If you do not show up to your appointment without notice, the fee equal to 100% of your appointment value will be charged.

Failure to pay this fee will result in no further appointments booked and all prebooked future appointments cancelled until the fee is paid.


[When you don't show up - no one else gets to use that time as it is too short of a notice for clients on cancelation list. Fee also protects our income.]


Extras

Please book all extras (nail art, french, ombre, etc.) in advance as they add time to the treatment.

If extras are not booked there may not be enough time to include these into your appointment.

If you have ideas for designs please send them by WhatsApp, email or Instagram chat in advance so appropriate time can be allocated for it.

Children and Teenagers

Under 16 year olds have to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian for both nail and piercing appointments.

The parent/legal guardian is required to sign a consent form and may need to stay throughout the appointment depending on child's age.

Original ID's required for both - child and parent/legal guardian.


Client forms

If you are coming to Starry Moon Beauty for the first time please fill in a client form online before arrival. The information you provide is very important for the quality of your appointment.

Payment

Starry Moon Beauty accepts cash and card payment. However, if you are paying cash, please have the correct amount as change is not always available.

Safety

To avoid cross contamination and ensure client's wellbeing:

  • All files and buffers are disposable.

  • All metal tools are disinfected and sterilised accordingly.

  • All piercing needles are sterile and disposed straight after use.

  • All tools and brushes are in sealed containers. There are separate containers for clean and used tools.

  • All equipment is cleaned and sanitised between appointments.

Privacy Policy

Why we collect your information?

Information about our customers is very important to us. To protect your privacy - information you provide is only used for the purpose of giving you a better browsing and shopping experience.


What information we collect?

To make your browsing and shopping experience better we need to collect certain information - such as name, address, email address, phone number.


Starry Moon Beauty does not share or sell any of the personal information provided by you.

We have no access to debit/ credit card details as payments are made through secure website (PayPal) and web tools (Wix Payments/ Stripe).

Shipping Policy

Shipping Destinations:

  • Nail Care product shipping is available only in Ireland.

  • Press on Nails can be shipped internationally - please contact us for more information or visit our Etsy shop.

All products are posted by An Post and are trackable.

Shipping Times:

  • Please allow 2-5 working days for order processing and additional time when in transit.

  • Shipping times may vary depending on location and other factors.

Shipping Fee:

  • Shipping within Ireland is €6 fee per order.

  • International fee varies depending on location. Contact for more information.

  • Collection is free of charge. Items can be collected at salon.

Cancelations and Changes:

Once an order is placed it goes into an automated processing system. Once you submit an order, details can no longer be changed. If you wish to change any information that you provided please contact us.

You may return the product following Returns Policy.

Return and Refund Policy

  1. Returns only accepted if the product is unopened, unused and in an original packaging. Please contact us within 7 days of the delivery if you would like to return a product.

  2. Faulty products can only be returned in their original packaging. Proof of purchase must be provided.

  3. Refund will only be made after receiving the returned product and investigation carried out.

  4. We do not cover return postage - all return fees are paid by a customer.

  5. Please make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients before purchase.

  6. We do not take any responsibility if any allergic reactions occur do to your own negligence and failure to look at ingredients before purchase. If you need more information about the product prior purchase please contact us - we are happy to answer any questions that you may have.

  7. Products that cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons:

  • Opened and tested products.

  • Products with no original package.

  • Press on Nails sets.
